1. Export from Splitwise
In Splitwise, open the group you want to move.
Tap the gear / settings icon.
Choose Export as spreadsheet → CSV.
Save the file to your phone.
2. Import into EconoGlance
Open Profile → Import from Splitwise.
Tap Choose CSV file and pick the export.
Review the summary (expenses, members, total).
Set the group name and type. The currency comes from your export and is locked.
Match members — for each person, choose "This is me", an existing contact, or "Add as new".
Tap Import and watch the progress animation.
What gets imported
Every expense (amount, date, category, who paid; split preserved as exact shares).
Every payment/settlement.
All members — matched or added as pending invites.
After importing
New members appear dimmed with an Invite button; send the invite (QR or link) and they join automatically. Currency shows consistently across the group. Your Splitwise data is untouched.
